sec.7 Impounding notices for second or subsequent type 1 vehicle related offence
This section applies if a police officer impounds a motor vehicle under section 74A (1) of the Act . Without limiting section 6 , the impounding notice must also state information about— how the motor vehicle may become the property of the State under section 74B (2) of the Act ; and how the motor vehicle may be taken to be forfeited to the State under section 118A (3) of the Act . (sec.7-ssec.1) This section applies if a police officer impounds a motor vehicle under section 74A (1) of the Act . (sec.7-ssec.2) Without limiting section 6 , the impounding notice must also state information about— how the motor vehicle may become the property of the State under section 74B (2) of the Act ; and how the motor vehicle may be taken to be forfeited to the State under section 118A (3) of the Act .
- (a) how the motor vehicle may become the property of the State under section 74B (2) of the Act ; and
- (b) how the motor vehicle may be taken to be forfeited to the State under section 118A (3) of the Act .
