49 Power of Commissioner of Police to grant permit

V No. 78 ]**[Section 49 Subsection (1) amended by No. 58 of 1957, s. 8 ]*The Commissioner may grant to any person a permit for the holding of any motor-vehicle race, and every such permit–

(a) [Section 49 Subsection (1) amended by No. 39 of 2007, s. 16, Applied:21 Nov 2007] shall specify the day and hours on and between which respectively, and the place in or upon which, the race may be held; and

(b) may impose such conditions as to the holding thereof as the Commissioner shall determine and specify in the permit.
