37ZF Unclamping or return of vehicle in case of severe hardship upon conviction
(1) [Section 37ZF Subsection (1) amended by No. 62 of 2009, s. 26, Applied:11 Dec 2009] [Section 37ZF Subsection (1) amended by No. 62 of 2009, s. 26, Applied:11 Dec 2009] If the Court is satisfied that the clamping, confiscation or forfeiture of a vehicle will cause severe hardship to a person, the Court may, instead of ordering the clamping, confiscation or forfeiture, order that –

(b) the person convicted of the prescribed offence perform not more than 240 hours of community service.
(2) [Section 37ZF Subsection (2) amended by No. 62 of 2009, s. 26, Applied:11 Dec 2009] If the Court makes an order under subsection (1) , the vehicle must be unclamped or returned as soon as reasonably practicable.
