37F Disqualification from driving

(1)  [Section 37F Subsection (1) amended by No. 90 of 1999, Sched. 1, Applied:14 Aug 2000] Subject to subsection (4) , where a person (not being a juvenile) is convicted of an offence under section 37B or section 37C , the court by which he is convicted may, in addition to any other penalty it imposes on him, order him to be disqualified from driving for such period as the court may determine.

(2)  [Section 37F Subsection (2) amended by No. 90 of 1999, Sched. 1, Applied:14 Aug 2000] Subject to subsection (3) , where a juvenile is convicted of an offence under section 37B or section 37C , the court by which he is convicted shall, in addition to any other penalty it imposes on him, order him to be disqualified from driving for such period as the court may determine.

(3)  [Section 37F Subsection (3) amended by No. 27 of 2013, s. 55, Applied:01 Mar 2014] [Section 37F Subsection (3) substituted by No. 90 of 1999, Sched. 1, Applied:14 Aug 2000] The period determined by a court under subsection (2) must be a period that begins after the juvenile attains the age at which he or she would, but for the disqualification, become eligible to hold a driver licence under the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 .
