*[Section 37E Inserted by No. 23 of 1973, s. 2 ]**[Section 37E Amended by No. 13 of 1987, s. 5 and Sched. 1 ]*A person who is convicted of an offence under section 37B or section 37C is liable to a penalty not exceeding 50 penalty units or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years.
