164 Certificate of appointment (1) The Commissioner may issue to a member a certificate under his hand certifying that, on a specified date, the member was appointed to be: (a) a member of the Police Force; or (b) a Special Constable; or (c) an Aboriginal Community Police officer; or (d) a Police auxiliary; or (e) a Police Public Safety officer. (2) The production, in any proceedings, of the certificate of the kind referred to in subsection (1) is prima facie evidence of the facts stated in the certificate and unless the contrary is proved, a document purporting to be such a certificate shall be deemed to be such a certificate and shall be deemed to have been duly issued.
