154 False representation (1) A person shall not knowingly make a false representation in connection with an application for appointment to the Police Force. (2) A prosecution under this section shall only be brought with the written consent of the Commissioner and upon the finding of guilt of a person of an offence under subsection (1), the Commissioner may terminate the appointment, if any, of the person so found guilty. (3) A prosecution under this section must be commenced within 6 months after the Commissioner first becomes aware that the false representation has been made.
