#### 87 Commissioner may enter into agreements 87 Commissioner may enter into agreements > > (1) The Commissioner may enter into an agreement with any association or organisation representing a group or class of non-executive officers with respect to industrial matters. > > > (2) The Commissioner is not authorised to enter into such an agreement with respect to a matter if the Industrial Relations Commission does not have jurisdiction to make an award or order with respect to that matter because of section 405 of the [Industrial Relations Act 1996](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1996-017). > > > (3) An agreement under this section binds all non-executive officers in the class or group affected by the agreement, and no such officer (whether a member of the association or organisation with which the agreement was entered into or not) has any right of appeal against the terms of the agreement. > > **ss 85–87:** Ins 2006 No 63, Sch 1 \[5\].
