#### 211H Exchange of information 211H Exchange of information > > (1) The Commissioner may enter into an arrangement (an information sharing arrangement) with the Commissioner of Fines Administration for the purposes of sharing or exchanging relevant information. > > > (2) The information to which an information sharing arrangement may relate is limited to information that assists the NSW Police Force to exercise law enforcement or investigative functions under this Act or another Act. > > > (3) Subject to the information sharing arrangement and despite another Act or law, each party to the arrangement is authorised— > > > > > (a) to request and receive relevant information from another party to the arrangement, and > > > > > (b) to disclose relevant information to another party to the arrangement. > > > (4) A reference in this section to the Commissioner of Fines Administration includes another person engaged in the administration of the [Fines Act 1996](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1996-099). > > > (5) To avoid doubt, nothing in this section restricts or prohibits the disclosure of information otherwise authorised by this Act or another Act. > > > (6) In this section— > > > > relevant information means information obtained in connection with the administration of or execution of the [Fines Act 1996](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1996-099) held by— > > > > > (a) the NSW Police Force, or > > > > > (b) the Commissioner of Fines Administration. > > **s 211H:** Ins 2023 No 18, Sch 6.
