#### 183A Revocation of promotional appointment by Commissioner 183A Revocation of promotional appointment by Commissioner > The Commissioner may, by order (in this Division called a revocation order), revoke an appointment by way of promotion of an officer who, in the Commissioner’s opinion, is found to have engaged in misconduct that has assisted the officer in obtaining the promotion and return the officer to the rank or grade held by the officer before his or her promotion. > > **s 183A:** Ins 2001 No 114, Sch 1 \[27\].
