Tasmania regulation
These regulations amend the Poisons Regulations 2018 and direct that the textual amendments be incorporated into the authorised version. Part 3 of the instrument does not start immediately; it takes effect only when the End‑of‑Life Choices (Voluntary Assisted Dying) Act 2021 commences. The changes therefore affect health practitioners, regulators and suppliers who handle scheduled poisons by changing when and how new poison‑related rules linked to voluntary assisted dying will apply.

These regulations may be cited as the Poisons Amendment Regulations 2022 .
(1) These regulations, other than Part 3, take effect on the day on which the making of these regulations is notified in the Gazette.
(2) Part 3 takes effect on the day on which the End-of-Life Choices (Voluntary Assisted Dying) Act 2021 commences.
