Tasmania regulation
These regulations amend the Poisons Regulations 2018 to implement the Poisons Amendment (Interstate Prescriptions) Act 2025. They take effect when that Act commences and incorporate the Act’s changes into the authorised version of the Poisons Regulations.
Who is affected: people and businesses regulated by the Poisons Regulations — for example prescribers, pharmacists and suppliers of scheduled medicines. The instrument mechanically updates regulatory text; it does not itself set out new operational rules beyond reflecting the Act's amendments.

These regulations may be cited as the Poisons Amendment (Interstate Prescriptions) Regulations 2026 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which the Poisons Amendment (Interstate Prescriptions) Act 2025 commences.
In these regulations, the Poisons Regulations 2018 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
