> > (1) In this section –
> >
> > > ***infringement offence*** means an offence against this Act or the regulations that is prescribed to be an infringement offence.

> > (2) [*\[Section 92B Subsection (2) amended by No. 51 of 2019, s. 6, Applied:31 Jan 2020\]*](/view/html/inforce/2020-01-31/act-2019-051#GS6@EN) The Board, an inspector or a police officer may issue and serve an infringement notice on a person if the Board, the inspector or the police officer reasonably believes that the person has committed an infringement offence.

> > (3) An infringement notice may not be served on an individual who has not attained the age of 16 years.
