83C Offence to make false statement, &c.
[Section 83C Inserted by No. 40 of 2016, s. 25, Applied:17 Oct 2016] A person must not, for the purpose of obtaining the issue, grant or renewal of a licence or authorisation, make a declaration or statement that is false in any particular, or knowingly utter, produce or make use of such a declaration or statement or a document containing such a declaration or statement.
Penalty: Fine not exceeding 100 penalty units.
