### 57 Application of certain provisions of the Criminal Code > The provisions of [sections 8](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/act-1924-069#GS8@EN) and [9 of the](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/act-1924-069#GS9@EN) [Criminal Code](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/act-1924-069) apply to and in relation to offences against this Part that are punishable summarily as if those offences were crimes within the meaning of that Code.
