5 Construction of Act

(a) [Section 5 Amended by No. 90 of 2001, Sched. 6, Applied:01 Apr 2002] [Section 5 Amended by No. 3 of 2010, Sched. 1, Applied:01 Jul 2010] the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Tasmania);

(b) the Fertilizers Act 1993 ;

(c) [Section 5 Amended by No. 8 of 2003, Sched. 2, Applied:15 Oct 2003] the Public Health Act 1997 ; and

(ca) [Section 5 Amended by No. 8 of 2003, Sched. 2, Applied:15 Oct 2003] the Food Act 2003 ; and

(d) the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Control of Use) Act 1995 –

but the provisions of those Acts shall be read subject to the express provisions of this Act, and, where a provision of any of those Acts is inconsistent with a provision of this Act, the last-mentioned provision, to the extent of the inconsistency, prevails.
