### 25C Authorisation of health professionals > [*\[Section 25C Inserted by No. 15 of 2017, s. 10, Applied:13 Jun 2017\]*](/view/html/inforce/2017-06-13/act-2017-015#GS10@EN) > > > (1)  In this section – > > > > > [*\[Section 25C Subsection (1) amended by No. 3 of 2025, s. 13, Applied:16 Apr 2025\]*](/view/html/inforce/2025-04-16/act-2025-003#GS13@EN) ***authorised body***, in respect of a class of health professionals, means an organisation or person, including the Crown, that is – > > > > > > > > (a) prescribed as the authorised body for that class of health professionals for the purposes of this section; or > > > > > > > > > (b) declared to be an authorised body for that class of health professionals under [section 25D(1)(b)](#GS25D@Gs1@Hpb@EN) . > > > (2)  An authorised health professional, who is endorsed to prescribe scheduled substances by an authorised body may only, for the purposes of his or her profession, possess, sell, supply or prescribe the scheduled substances specified in that endorsement. > > > (3)  The Governor may make regulations authorising and regulating the possession, sale, supply or prescription of scheduled substances by authorised health professionals in such circumstances, subject to such conditions and in relation to such substances or classes of substances, as may be specified in the regulations.
