16 Licences

(1AA)  [Section 16 Subsection (1AA) inserted by No. 40 of 2016, s. 7, Applied:17 Oct 2016] A person may apply to the Minister for –

(a) the grant of a licence under subsection (1) ; or

(b) the renewal of a licence granted to the person under subsection (1) .

(1)  [Section 16 Subsection (1) amended by No. 40 of 2016, s. 7, Applied:17 Oct 2016] The Minister, in his discretion, may, on the application of a person under subsection (1AA) , grant, or refuse to grant, to that person–

(a) a licence to carry on business as a manufacturing chemist; or

(b) [Section 16 Subsection (1) amended by No. 40 of 2016, s. 7, Applied:17 Oct 2016] a licence to carry on business as a wholesale chemist –

(2)  *[Section 16 Subsection (2) amended by No. 27 of 1984, s. 9 ]*A licence under subsection (1) (a) –
