#### 51 Applications for taxi licences 51 Applications for taxi licences > > (1) The following persons may apply for a taxi licence— > > > > > (a) an individual, > > > > > (b) 2 or more persons who intend to hold the licence jointly under a partnership or other agreement, > > > > > (c) a body corporate incorporated under a law of this or any other jurisdiction (including the [Corporations Act 2001](http://www.legislation.gov.au/) of the Commonwealth, the [Associations Incorporation Act 2009](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2009-007) and the [Co-operatives National Law (NSW)](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2012-29a)). > > > (2) An application for a taxi licence is to be made to the Commissioner. > > > (3) An application is— > > > > > (a) to be in the form approved by the Commissioner, and > > > > > (b) to contain the information that the Commissioner requires to be provided, and > > > > > (c) to be accompanied by the fee, if any, prescribed by the regulations. > > > (4) (Repealed) > > > (5) The Commissioner may, by written notice given to the applicant, require the applicant to provide further information relevant to the application that is specified in the notice. > > **s 51:** Am 2022 No 79, Sch 1\[6\] \[7\].
