#### 137 Point to Point Transport Commissioner 137 Point to Point Transport Commissioner > > (1) The Governor, on the recommendation of the Minister, may appoint a Point to Point Transport Commissioner. > > > (2) The Commissioner holds office for the term, not exceeding 5 years, that is specified in the instrument of appointment but is eligible (if otherwise qualified) for re-appointment. > > > (3) A person is not eligible to be appointed for more than 2 terms of office as the Commissioner. > > > (4) The office of Commissioner is a statutory office and the provisions of the [Government Sector Employment Act 2013](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2013-040) relating to the employment of Public Service employees do not apply to that office (except as provided by section 138 of this Act).
