#### 126 Offences relating to inspections 126 Offences relating to inspections > > (1) A person must not, without reasonable excuse, hinder or obstruct an authorised officer in a manner that interferes with the exercise by the officer of his or her functions under this Act or the regulations. > > > (2) The occupier or person in charge of any premises or land entered by an authorised officer under this Act must not, without reasonable excuse, fail to provide the officer with all reasonable assistance for the effective exercise of the officer’s functions under this Act or the regulations. > > > (3) A person must not, without reasonable excuse, fail to answer questions or provide information when required to do so by an authorised officer in the exercise of the officer’s functions under this Act or the regulations. > > > (4) A person must not, without reasonable excuse, fail to produce for inspection any documents or other things when required to do so by an authorised officer in the exercise of the officer’s functions under this Act or the regulations. > > Maximum penalty— > > > (a) in the case of a body corporate—$110,000, or > > > (b) in the case of an individual—500 penalty units.
