sec.40 Fast-track opt-out declaration for local government area
A local government may, by resolution, declare that it will not deal with any applications relating to permits for work to be carried out in its local government area as fast-track applications (a fast-track opt-out declaration ). A fast-track opt-out declaration applies in relation to an application for, or to amend, a permit made on or after the day the declaration is made.
