sec.24 Commissioner may upgrade provisional licence

This section applies if— an individual applied for a licence; and the commissioner granted a provisional licence to the individual; and the individual’s provisional licence has not expired; and the individual satisfies the commissioner about an issue that caused the commissioner to grant the provisional licence to the individual instead of the licence applied for. The commissioner may, without another application being made under division 2 , grant the individual the licence originally applied for, with or without any conditions imposed on the provisional licence. The provisional licence is cancelled if a licence is granted under subsection (2) . (sec.24-ssec.1) This section applies if— an individual applied for a licence; and the commissioner granted a provisional licence to the individual; and the individual’s provisional licence has not expired; and the individual satisfies the commissioner about an issue that caused the commissioner to grant the provisional licence to the individual instead of the licence applied for. (sec.24-ssec.2) The commissioner may, without another application being made under division 2 , grant the individual the licence originally applied for, with or without any conditions imposed on the provisional licence. (sec.24-ssec.3) The provisional licence is cancelled if a licence is granted under subsection (2) .

• (a) an individual applied for a licence; and

• (d) the individual satisfies the commissioner about an issue that caused the commissioner to grant the provisional licence to the individual instead of the licence applied for.
