sec.139 Appointment and qualifications
A local government may appoint an authorised person as an inspector under this Act if satisfied the person has the qualifications and experience prescribed by regulation. An inspector holds office subject to the conditions stated in the inspector’s instrument of appointment. In this section— authorised person — for the Brisbane City Council—see the City of Brisbane Act 2010 , section 114 (2) ; or for another local government—see the Local Government Act 2009 , section 125 (2) . (sec.139-ssec.1) A local government may appoint an authorised person as an inspector under this Act if satisfied the person has the qualifications and experience prescribed by regulation. (sec.139-ssec.2) An inspector holds office subject to the conditions stated in the inspector’s instrument of appointment. (sec.139-ssec.3) In this section— authorised person — for the Brisbane City Council—see the City of Brisbane Act 2010 , section 114 (2) ; or for another local government—see the Local Government Act 2009 , section 125 (2) .
