sec.68B Purpose of part
The purpose of this part is to support the State’s economic recovery from the impacts of the COVID-19 emergency. The purpose is achieved by enabling a local government to adopt an economic support instrument for its local government area. In this section— COVID-19 emergency means the declared public health emergency under the Public Health Act 2005 , section 319 (2) for COVID-19 declared on 29 January 2020 as extended and further extended under that Act. s 68B ins 2020 SL No. 197 s 13 (sec.68B-ssec.1) The purpose of this part is to support the State’s economic recovery from the impacts of the COVID-19 emergency. (sec.68B-ssec.2) The purpose is achieved by enabling a local government to adopt an economic support instrument for its local government area.
