For section 36 (3) of the Act , the guidelines for the process for carrying out an environmental assessment, including consultation, under section 36 (2) of the Act are contained in the document called ‘Minister’s guidelines and rules’, dated July 2024 and published on the department’s website. s 14 amd 2020 SL No. 197 s 9 ; 2023 SL No. 92 s 4 ; 2024 SL No. 123 s 9
