44 Effect of approval of subdivision design application (1) The territory planning authority must, within a reasonable time after approving a subdivision design application under section 185 (Deciding development applications), amend the territory plan under section 85 (Making minor plan amendments)— (a) if the land the subject of the application is in a future urban area—to identify the land use zones that will apply to the land, consistent with the application; and (b) to incorporate any provision that— (i) was included in the application under section 43 (2); and (ii) the authority determined should be incorporated in the territory plan; and (c) to incorporate any ongoing provision that— (i) was not included in the application under section 43 (2); and (ii) the authority determined should be incorporated in the (2) If the territory plan is amended under subsection (1) and the land the subject of the subdivision design application is in a future urban area, the land ceases to be in a future urban area.
