287 Land leased to be held as undivided parcel (1) The land described in a lease must at all times be held and occupied by or under the lessee as 1 undivided parcel, unless section 284, section 285 or section 286 provides otherwise. (2) The land described in a lease may be sublet and the lease and any interest in it may be assigned, transferred or mortgaged, unless a provision of this chapter provides otherwise.
