285Subletting part of building

285 Subletting part of building (1) Any part of a building on land described in a lease may, subject to the lease, any sublease of the land and this Act, be sublet separately from the remainder of the building. (2) If a part of a building is sublet separately from the remainder of the building, any part of the parcel of land with the building on it may be sublet with the part of the building separately from the remainder of the parcel, as long as the part of the parcel sublet adjoins the part of the parcel with the building on it. (3) To remove any doubt, nothing in this section prevents the subletting of a whole building.
