144Inquiries

144 Inquiries (1) The Minister may require the Chair or a Division to conduct an inquiry for purposes connected with the administration of this Act. (2) The Chair or a Division may appoint a person to conduct an inquiry the Chair or the Division is required to conduct under (3) The Inquiries Act applies to and in relation to an inquiry under this section as if the Chair or the Division or the person appointed under subsection (2) had been appointed as a Board or Commissioner, as the case may be, under section 4(1) of that Act. (4) The Development Consent Authority or the person appointed under subsection (2), as the case may be, must provide a report to the Minister setting out the results of an inquiry under this section.
