8 Harming animals or their habitats
A person must not do the following in the public domain—
(a) annoy, capture or injure an animal,
(b) interfere with an animal’s habitat,
(c) abandon an animal,
(d) possess a trap or device for hunting or capturing animals.
Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
