43BA Information concerning unlicensed pipelines

(1) For the Act, Schedule 2, clause 10(a), the Minister may, by written direction, require a person operating a pipeline of a kind referred to in the Act, section 5(1)(a)–(h) to give the Minister information specified in the direction relating to the design, construction, operation or maintenance of the pipeline.

(2) A person must comply with a direction given under this section.

Maximum penalty—

(a) for a corporation—2,000 penalty units and, for a continuing offence, a further 200 penalty units for each day the offence continues, or

(b) for an individual—400 penalty units and, for a continuing offence, a further 40 penalty units for each day the offence continues.
