61 When must construction be completed? (1) Subject to this section, the construction of a pipeline under a licence must be completed within 2 years after the commencement of construction unless a longer period is provided for in the licence. (2) The Minister may extend the period for completion of construction of a pipeline by 1 year or more. (3) An application for an extension must be made before the period for construction to commence expires. (4) An extension under subsection (2) may be given more than once. (5) An extension under subsection (2) must be given in writing.
