60 When must construction commence? (1) Subject to this section, the construction of a pipeline under a licence must commence within 1 year after the issue of the licence unless a longer period is provided for in the licence. (2) The Minister may extend the period for commencement of construction of a pipeline by 1 year or more. (3) An application for an extension must be made before the period for construction to commence expires. (4) An extension under subsection (2) may be given more than once. (5) An extension under subsection (2) must be given in writing.
