157 Authorisation of inspectors S. 157(1) amended by No. 13/2025 s. 96(Sch. 3 item 5). (1) The Minister may authorise an authorised officer appointed under the **Gas Safety Act 1997** or any other person to carry out inspections for the purposes of this Act. (2) The Minister must not authorise a person under this section unless the Minister is satisfied that the person is appropriately qualified or has successfully completed appropriate training.
