116 Mandatory notice of incidents A licensee must at all times ensure that in the event of the escape or ignition of anything in the pipeline efficient arrangements are made for immediate notice of the escape or ignition to be given— (a) to the nearest police station; and (b) to the relevant authorities for— (i) the prevention or combating of fire, flooding or pollution; and (ii) the prevention of damage to sewers, sewerage works and the maintenance of the free flow of the contents of sewers; and (c) to any other authority that the Minister by notice served on the licensee declares to be a relevant authority for the purposes of this section.
