88Terms of office

88 Terms of office (1) A member of the Authority holds office for the period, not exceeding 3 years, that is specified in the instrument of appointment of the member. (2) A member of the Authority is eligible for reappointment. (3) The **Public Administration Act 2004** (other than Part 3 of that Act) applies to a member in respect of the office of a member. (4) Despite subsection (1) and anything to the contrary in the member's instrument of appointment, a member may, with the consent of the Minister, continue to hold office at the end of his or her appointment for a period not exceeding 3 months to enable the vacancy in the member's office to be filled.
