Tasmania regulation
These regulations set the specific fees payable under the Pharmacy Control Act 2001 for applications, renewals, exemptions and approvals connected to pharmacy eligibility certificates and pharmacy business premises. They take effect on 29 December 2021 and are administered by the Department of Health.
Individuals, corporate applicants and registered pharmacy premises bear the fees (with higher amounts where trusts are involved) and may pay late fees for renewals; the schedule lists amounts in fee units rather than dollar values, creating explicit compliance costs that influence decisions to apply, renew or alter premises.
