#### 23 Interim Petroleum Mining Code If the Joint Commission: (a) adopts an interim code under paragraph 7(b) of the Treaty; and (b) determines that the interim code is to be taken to have had effect on and from 20 May 2002; the interim code is taken, for the purposes of this Act, to have had effect on and from that day.
