#### 85 Production and inspection of documents (1) The Designated Authority may require any person to produce to the Designated Authority or make available for inspection by or on behalf of the Designated Authority any documents in the possession or under the control of that person and relating to a transfer or dealing in relation to which approval is sought under this Division. (1A) The Designated Authority may require any person to produce to the Designated Authority or to make available for inspection by the Designated Authority any documents in the possession or under the control of that person and relating to an application made to the Designated Authority under subsection 79(1) or (3) or 87A(2). (2) A person must not fail to comply with a requirement given to the person under subsection (1) or (1A). Penalty: 50 penalty units. (3) An offence against subsection (2) is an offence of strict liability. > Note: For strict liability, see section 6.1 of the Criminal Code. (4) A person must not refuse to comply with a requirement given to the person under subsection (1) or (1A). Penalty: 50 penalty units.
