53 Responsibilities associated with low impact activities (1) Despite any other regulation: (a) an interest holder must ensure that a vehicle is not driven off an existing road or track on land where low impact activities are to be carried out, for the purposes of those low impact activities, without the written consent of a designated person; and (b) if a hole is created as part of carrying out low impact activities, the interest holder must ensure that the hole is filled with the soil or other material extracted to create the hole as soon as reasonably practicable after the activity for which the hole was created is completed. (2) The interest holder commits an offence if the interest holder fails to comply with subregulation (1). Maximum penalty: 150 penalty units.
