##### 36. Consent to commencement or resumption of pipeline operations (1) The Minister, on application in writing served on him — (a) by a licensee whose pipeline has not previously been in operation; or (b) by a licensee who has ceased to operate the pipeline specified in his licence, may, if he is of the opinion that the pipeline is fit to be operated, by instrument in writing served on the licensee, consent to the commencement or resumption, as the case may be, of operations. (2) A consent under subsection (1) may be given subject to such conditions, if any, as the Minister thinks fit and specifies in the instrument of consent. [Section 36 amended: No. 36 of 2020 s. 328.]
