83H Use of information
> > (1) Any information in an audit report or other documentation supplied to the Secretary in connection with a mandatory audit may be supplied by the Secretary to, and taken into consideration by, any person who has functions under this Act, the [Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1979-203) or the environment protection legislation and may be used by that person for the purposes of those laws.

> > (2) Without limiting subsection (1)—
> >
> > > (a) the Secretary is authorised, despite any other Act or law, to provide a relevant agency with any such information, and
> >
> > > (b) any such information is admissible in evidence in any prosecution of the holder of a petroleum title for any offence (whether under this Act or otherwise).
>
> > (3) In this section, relevant agency means the Department, or a public authority engaged in administering or executing the environment protection legislation, the [Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1979-203) or such other legislation, if any, as may be prescribed by the regulations.
