#### 78B Effect of direction 78B Effect of direction > The issuing of a direction under this Division does not affect— > > > (a) the liability of any person to any penalty for an offence in relation to a petroleum title, or > > > (b) the amount of security deposit that is or may be required under a petroleum title, or > > > (c) the operation of any other provision of this Act or the regulations that requires or enables other action to be taken in relation to any contravention or other circumstances to which the direction relates. > > Note— > > For example, the issuing of a direction does not affect the power to cancel a petroleum title under Division 1 of Part 3. > > **s 78B:** Ins 2015 No 40, Sch 2 \[33\].
