#### 125W Recovery of costs of registering charge on land 125W Recovery of costs of registering charge on land > > (1) A person or public authority who registers a charge on land to which a restraining order applies under section 125U may, by written notice, require the defendant to pay all or any of the reasonable costs and expenses incurred by the person or authority in respect of the lodgment and registration of the charge (including the costs of discharging the charge). > > > (2) The person or public authority may recover from the defendant any unpaid amounts specified in the notice as a debt in a court of competent jurisdiction. > > **pt 13A, divs 3–5 (ss 125O–125ZI):** Ins 2015 No 40, Sch 2 \[44\].
