#### 125B Obstruction
125B Obstruction
> A person must not, without reasonable excuse, obstruct, hinder or resist any of the following persons in the exercise of a function under this Act—
>
> > (a) an inspector,
>
> > (b) an authorised person within the meaning of section 78D,
>
> > (b) a member of staff of the Department, or Public Service employee, who exercises functions under this Act or the [Mining Act 1992](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1992-029),
>
> > (c) any other person who exercises any judicial or official functions under this Act or the [Mining Act 1992](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1992-029).
>
> Maximum penalty—
>
> > (a) in the case of a corporation—10,000 penalty units, or
>
> > (b) in the case of an individual—2,000 penalty units.
