55 Application for renewal of licence
(1) A licensee may, from time to time, make an application to the Minister for the renewal of the licence.
(2) An application for the renewal of the licence—
(a) shall be in accordance with an approved form,
(b) subject to subsection (3), shall be made in an approved manner not less than 6 months before the day on which the licence ceases to be in force,
(c) shall be accompanied by particulars of the proposals of the licensee for work and expenditure in respect of the licence area, and
(d) shall be accompanied by the prescribed fee.
(3) The Minister may, for reasons that the Minister thinks sufficient, receive an application for the renewal of the licence less than 6 months before, but not in any case after, the day on which the licence ceases to be in force.
