#### 2 Commencement 2 Commencement > > (1) This section and section 1 shall commence on the date of assent to this Act. > > > (2) Except as provided by subsection (1), this Act shall commence on the first day on which all of the following Acts of the Parliament of the Commonwealth, with or without amendments, are in operation, namely, the Seas and Submerged Lands Amendment Act 1980, the Coastal Waters (State Powers) Act 1980, the Coastal Waters (State Title) Act 1980 and the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Amendment Act 1980. > > > (3) The Minister shall as soon as is practicable after the commencement of this Act cause notice of the commencement to be published in the Gazette.
