This section applies if the holder of a gas work licence or gas work authorisation installs all or part of a gas system other than at an operating plant or proposed operating plant. For section 734 (3) of the Act , the holder must give the gas compliance certificate to— the owner, operator or proposed operator of the gas system when the holder completes the installation; and the relevant network operator for the gas system within 5 business days after the holder completes the installation.
