sec.77 Required gauge pressure
This section applies to a person who— connects a consumer’s gas system to a fuel gas network for the first time; or starts to supply fuel gas to a consumer’s gas system through a fuel gas network for the first time. The person must ensure the fuel gas is supplied, at the relevant point, at a gauge pressure of at least— for LPG in a vaporous state—3.0kPa; or for processed natural gas—1.25kPa; or for hydrogen—2.0kPa. Fuel gas may be supplied at a higher pressure if the higher pressure does not adversely affect the performance of the gas system. In this section— relevant point means the outlet of— if there is a meter for the consumer’s gas system—the meter; or otherwise—the regulator nearest to the consumer’s gas system. s 77 amd 2023 SL No. 102 s 7 (sec.77-ssec.1) This section applies to a person who— connects a consumer’s gas system to a fuel gas network for the first time; or starts to supply fuel gas to a consumer’s gas system through a fuel gas network for the first time. (sec.77-ssec.2) The person must ensure the fuel gas is supplied, at the relevant point, at a gauge pressure of at least— for LPG in a vaporous state—3.0kPa; or for processed natural gas—1.25kPa; or for hydrogen—2.0kPa. (sec.77-ssec.3) Fuel gas may be supplied at a higher pressure if the higher pressure does not adversely affect the performance of the gas system. (sec.77-ssec.4) In this section— relevant point means the outlet of— if there is a meter for the consumer’s gas system—the meter; or otherwise—the regulator nearest to the consumer’s gas system.
